Please read the following instructions carefully in order to proceed with submitting your Boston University College of Fine Arts Graduate Program Online Application.

The online application is only one element of the admissions process. Please refer to the Admissions Requirements section for the complete list of additional application materials needed.

Please note, before you begin the online application, you must have the names of recommenders who will be submitting a Letter of Recommendation for your candidacy.

Now it is time to start your online application. A link to the application is located below. Please take note of the following helpful tips you can reference when completing the application:

  • Create Boston University Web account & password
  • Choose the school you are applying to: The College of Fine Arts
  • Choose program you are applying for: ONLINE graduate program (Master of Arts, M.A.- Art Education)
  • Select term and session of intended enrollment
  • Select campus: Online
  • Complete all tabs (personal information, etc.)
  • Check application for errors using Checker Tab (look for green checks)
  • Submit your application with the $70 application fee
    • Mail application materials and transcripts to:

Your application is officially submitted once you receive email confirmation that it was submitted successfully.
